The exhibition Distant Surroundings presented at the Canadian Guild of Crafts in 2013 suggests a
lyrical route that deals with the notion of territory. Like a travel journal that documents botany and geology, the
exhibition’s works echo the history of the living world, its fragility and its
beauty.
